Make a small offering. Oraculum rolls your fortune โ one of five rarity tiers, from a common Whisper to a once-in-a-thousand Destiny โ and etches it into the chain forever.
Send a small amount of native currency to the oracle. It does not answer for free.
A rarity tier and a fortune within it are chosen on-chain, the instant your offering lands.
Your reading flips into view โ tier, text, and the moment it was given.
Every fortune ever given lives permanently in the public Hall of Fates. Nothing is erased.
Once given, a fortune is stored on-chain forever โ visible to anyone, editable by no one, not even Oraculum's owner.
Your tier and fortune are decided the moment your offering is confirmed โ not fetched from a server, not chosen by a human.
Browse every reading ever given, filter to your own, or watch for the rare Prophecy and Destiny tiers as they land.
It's pseudo-random, derived from the previous block's hash mixed with your address and the reading count โ fair and unpredictable enough for a fun, cosmetic oracle. Don't build anything that secures real value on top of it.
Yes โ there are only 8 texts per tier, so with enough consultations you'll see repeats. What's permanent is your own record of every reading you were given, and when.
They accumulate in the contract's treasury. Oraculum's owner can withdraw them and adjust the offering amount, but can never alter a fortune already given or take funds beyond what's been offered.
No โ the app runs in a local demo mode on any network without a live contract, so you can consult the oracle and browse the Hall of Fates before ever connecting.
